ReiserFs / Kernel fel.. ?

Visste inte om det här hörde hemma under Linuxkärnan eller här men here we go..

Idag så hände något mycket oroväckande.. I min syslog så fann jag detta:

Vad nu detta kan betyda överstiger min kompetens.
Det jag kan säga är att jag använder Slackware 10 med kärna 2.6.8.1, och jag kör reiserfs på båda mina diskar.

Jag skulle ta en omedelbar backup av hela den disken. Antingen håller disken på att gå sönder eller så är ditt reiserfs-filsystem allvarligt trasigt. Mest troligt är att disken håller på att rasa med tanke på felmeddelandet:

Du bör även kontrollera kabeln mellan diskcontrollern och hårddisken.

Jag tror inte att disken "rasar nu när som helst" efter det där meddelandet har kommit upp, men man skall nog förbereda sig på att inte ha något überviktigt som inte går att återställa.

Har haft de där felmeddelanden på hen hel del diskar som jag har haft. 90% av de fallen så har det varit HDD'n som har gett upp...

Jepp, hade samma problem så jag testa med ext3 istället o det gick bra... i cirka 3 dar, sen kasta hd in handuken

Har hänt samma sak för mig på en 120GB disk (Maxtor tror jag det var) med reiserfs, den gav sig efter det. Så en backup på viktiga grejer är nog att föredra.
